The Environmental Security Special Forces arrested a citizen and residents of Pakistani nationality for violating For the environmental system, they transported two cubic meters of local firewood in the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve, and regular procedures were applied against them, and the seized quantities were handed over to the competent authority.
The forces explained that the penalty for transporting Local firewood and charcoal reach (16,000) riyals per cubic meter.
The Special Forces of Environmental Security arrested a citizen violating the environmental system, for not complying Instructions and instructions Preserving vegetation cover by lighting fires in places other than those designated for them in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Royal Reserve, and regulatory procedures were applied against him.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for setting fires in places other than those designated for them in forests and national parks is a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.
Reporting violations
The forces are urged to report any cases that represent an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any responsibility on the part of the reporter.
