Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, stressed the importance of preparedness and international cooperation to face future challenges and enhance protection and safety in societies.

During his speech at the World Summit on Protection and Safety, Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, expert, welcomed the participants in the summit from various parts of the world, expressing his pride in holding this international event in the United Arab Emirates, which has become a global platform for dialogue, exchanging experiences, and creating the future.

International platform
Lieutenant General Al Matrooshi stressed that the summit represents a high-level international platform that brings together leaders, decision-makers and experts from various countries, with the aim of exchanging visions, formulating ideas, and building innovative solutions to face future challenges, thus contributing to enhancing the security of societies and human well-being.

He stressed the importance of advance planning, comprehensive preparedness, and investing in people as the main driver of development, in addition to strengthening international cooperation to confront risks and crises efficiently and flexibly.

The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defense pointed out that one of the most prominent goals of the summit is to provide an open global space for exchanging successful government experiences, anticipating the future, and strengthening international partnerships, in a way that supports building systems that are more prepared and able to adapt to changes, and contribute to achieving sustainable development and serving the security of communities.
