Maximilian Ibrahimovic follows in his father’s footsteps and joins Ajax

The Dutch football club Ajax announced today that Maximilian Ibrahimovic is following in the footsteps of his father, Zlatan, after he joined the Dutch team.
The Dutch club said in a statement that Maximilian Ibrahimovic joined the team on loan from AC Milan until the end of the season, and the contract includes purchasing the option permanently.
Ajax sporting director Marin Bueker said that he will start playing with the U-23 team, and will “move regularly between the Ajax U-23 team and the first team during the season.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic moved from the Swedish team Malmo to the Dutch team Ajax in 2001, and won the Dutch League title twice and once the Dutch Cup title.
Ibrahimovic played for Ajax until 2004, when he moved to Juventus.
