Inter Milan passes Cagliari and touches the Italian League title

Inter Milan took another step towards the Italian Premier League title with a 3-0 victory over Cagliari at the San Siro Stadium on Friday, as Marcus Thuram, Nicolo Barella and Piotr Zielinski scored three goals in the second half to move the host away by 12 points at the top of the standings.

Inter raised its score to 78 points, while Napoli, in second place, had 66 points before hosting Lazio on Saturday, while Cagliari remained in 16th place with 33 points, six points ahead of the relegation zone.
