Hospital "Egyptian Emirati" The mobile heart surgery unit arrives in Cairo

CAIRO, 14 JANUARY / WAM / The “Egyptian Emirati” mobile hospital for interventional heart surgeries arrived in Cairo yesterday, in an initiative that is the first of its kind, with the aim of improving cardiac care outcomes, facilitating access to advanced health solutions, and enhancing medical cooperation between the two countries.

The hospital was equipped with advanced field units for diagnosis, treatment and surgery, to provide innovative services that reach areas far from cities, using the latest medical technologies and artificial intelligence, at a joint initiative by the Egyptian Ministry of Health, Emirati doctors, Dar Al Ber Society, and Sharjah Charitable House, under the supervision of the Egyptian-Emirati team of interventional cardiac surgeons, and accredited by the World Council of Interventional Cardiac Surgeons.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Housing, stressed that the program reflects the depth of joint relations between the two countries and seeks to set new standards for heart disease care in the region, and embodies the goals of promoting innovation and providing world-class health care.

For his part, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Housing, explained that the program focuses on early diagnosis, following advanced treatment methodologies, and building the capabilities of medical personnel, while benefiting from General Electric technologies and the efforts of the Dar Al Ber Society and Sharjah Charity House, to address the increasing burden of cardiovascular diseases.

In turn, Dr. Adel Al-Shammari Al-Ajmi, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative and head of the “Readiness” program, confirmed that the launch of the hospital reflects the depth of health cooperation between Egypt and the Emirates, noting that the program also includes specialized training to raise medical readiness and deal with emergency cardiac cases according to a unified and internationally approved curriculum.
