المملكة: Saudi Arabia showcases its pioneering experiences and success stories at the World Economic Forum

Chaired by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom is participating with a high-level delegation in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, during the period from 19 to 23 January of this year.
The delegation includes Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and His Excellency the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel. Al-Khatib, His Excellency the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khoraif, and His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim.
The 56th annual meeting comes For the World Economic Forum under the slogan "Evaluate the dialogue"In light of rapid global changes, geopolitical and technical challenges, and the emergence of new opportunities in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and clean energy, the Kingdom’s delegation aims, through its participation, to enhance effective dialogue and joint cooperation with leaders of governments, the private sector, civil society, and academia, in an effort to consolidate the foundations of international stability and prosperity.
The Kingdom’s pioneering experiences
The delegation will review, through a series of bilateral meetings and plenary sessions, the Kingdom’s pioneering experiences and success stories. emanating from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which has become a global model for advancing comprehensive growth, confirming the Kingdom’s commitment to its responsibilities towards the international community and offering innovative solutions to confront challenges.
The Kingdom’s participation during the Forum’s activities witnesses the return of the Pavilion Initiative. "Saudi House"Organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, as a platform to enhance cooperation and effective dialogue, it will bring together an elite group of thought leaders, decision-makers and international officials through more than 20 dialogue sessions, including more than 10 sessions approved by the World Economic Forum, covering six main topics, including: "An ambitious vision"and"Data to make impact"and"People and human capabilities development"and"Quality of life"and"Investment and cooperation"and"Hello World"
The initiative will also launch a series of dialogues "NextOn"which aims to review future trends and discuss anticipated transformations in various sectors, with the participation of a number of experts and specialists.
The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum for this year brings together a number of heads of state and leaders from governments, the private sector and civil society, including more than 100 governments and major international organizations, and more than 1,000 senior representatives of the private sector, in addition to a number of young change leaders and senior thinkers in academic institutions and think tanks.
The meeting also aims The forum aims to enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors to explore future opportunities, and review solutions and developments in various economic and development sectors within the framework of international cooperation and joint work between governments and various institutions.
