With live auctions and prizes for the elite, the Sharjah Vintage Cars Festival transforms heritage into a contemporary experience

Sharjah, January 19 / WAM / The activities of the third edition of the “Sharjah Vintage Car Festival” will begin next Thursday at the headquarters of the Sharjah Vintage Car Club, and will continue until January 25 under the slogan “When Time Moves,” in an event that seeks to consolidate the emirate’s position as a leading platform that celebrates material heritage and transforms it into a living experience that links the past with the present.
This year, the festival presents an integrated cultural perspective that goes beyond the mere traditional display of vehicles, to present them as an authentic part of human memory and a narration of stories of innovation and social transformations that accompanied the development of mobility, by displaying a rare group of cars representing different time periods, in addition to organizing live auctions and entertainment and commercial areas that provide a comprehensive experience for visitors and families.
The event focuses remarkably on the cognitive dimension through a dialogue program that includes six specialized sessions held over the four days, discussing topics that extend from the passion for collecting and pride in classic industries, all the way to the world of motorcycles and the role of vehicles in building bridges of cultural communication, which opens a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences between amateurs and specialists.
This interactive atmosphere culminates in the launch of the “Sharjah Vintage Cars Award,” which honors distinguished entries in multiple categories, including the oldest cars and vehicles that retain their original factory condition, in addition to the “Elite” category for the rarest and most valuable cars and the public-voted category, thus making the festival a cultural space that evokes memory and gives history an opportunity to move again.
