World champions crowned "Emirates International" For indoor skydiving in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 19 JANUARY / WAM / The second edition of the UAE International Indoor Skydiving Championship 2026 concluded yesterday at Clym Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 250 male and female athletes representing 30 countries.

The Russian team won the International Indoor Skydiving Championship for group teams (16 participants) in the duo team system, the Tanai team from Russia won the team title for 8 players, Sebastian Garcia from Mexico was crowned champion in the Pursuit category, Landon Karapiris and James Roger from America took the lead in the Relay category, while Sebastian Garcia’s team from America also won the overall title in the Race category.

The Siberis team from Russia won the title of the International Quad Team Indoor Free Jump Championship in its first edition, and the American team also won the title in the consecutive vertical jump category for teams of 8 players.

The winners were crowned by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral, Yousef Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Air Sports Federation, Mohammed Yousef, Secretary General of the Federation, Andrej Barabash, President of the European Aviation Safety Agency, and Hussein Al Hassani, Deputy Director General of CLYMB Abu Dhabi.
