"I am no longer bound by peace".. Trump raises controversy again because of the Nobel Prize

The US President announced Donald Trump He is no longer "Obligated to work only for peace" After not giving him Nobel Prize, stressing in a letter published Monday that the world will not enjoy security as long as Greenlandis not in the hands of the United States.
The tensions between the Americans and the Europeans caused a decline in the most prominent European stock exchanges, after the US President threatened to impose additional customs duties on eight European countries because of their opposition to American control over Greenland. The European Union vowed a firm response.
In a letter addressed to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Sture and circulated on Monday, Trump wrote "Since your country decided not to award me the Nobel Peace Prize after I stopped more than eight wars, I no longer feel obligated to work only for peace."
Control of Greenland
The Norwegian Prime Minister’s office explained that this message came in response to a letter addressed to Storr and Finnish President Alexander Stubb in which they expressed "Their opposition to the tariff increases announced against Norway, Finland and other countries"
Stor also reminded that the awarding of Nobel Prizes is not up to the Norwegian government, and he clarified. "I explained clearly, including to President Trump, that the award is given by an independent committee"
In his message, Trump reaffirmed his desire to control Greenland, which belongs to Denmark and enjoys self-rule, a position that raised concern around the world. He said: "Denmark cannot protect this land from Russia or China".
He added "Why do they even have the right to own it? There are no written documents. All that matters is that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we also had boats that docked there."
Nobel Peace Prize
Trump continued in the post addressed to Jonas Gahr Store that "The world will not be safe unless we fully control Greenland"
Donald Trump launched a fierce campaign last year to win the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his efforts, which he said had put an end to eight wars.
The award was awarded to Venezuelan oppositionist Maria Corina Machado, who fled Venezuela by sea to receive her award in Oslo last month.
