Affiliates "A quarter century for theatre" They participate in the Arab Forum for Puppet Arts in Cairo

Sharjah, January 20, 2017 (WAM) – Members of “Ru’u Qarn for Theater and Performing Arts” participate through the Puppet Arts Center in the fifth session of the Arab Forum for Puppet Arts, which began today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and continues until January 24 at the invitation of the Arab Theater Authority and in cooperation with the Cairo Puppet Theater of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.

This participation comes through the presentation of the puppet theatrical show “Krasasi”, within the framework of the center’s keenness to empower its members, develop their artistic capabilities, and encourage them to delve deeper into this precise specialty through exposure to advanced Arab experiences and participation in specialized platforms that enhance their creative and cognitive skills in the puppet arts.

The “Chairs” show is presented as a silent puppet work with a musical and visual nature that employs movement, rhythm and symbolic elements to present human contemplations in a non-verbal manner, presenting an artistic experience that relies on image and movement as basic tools for expression and narration, in an Emirati participation that reflects the diversity of contemporary artistic approaches in the field of puppet arts.

This participation is a qualitative opportunity for “Rubu Qarn” members to interact with a specialized Arab audience and exchange experiences with artists and practitioners in this field, which contributes to expanding their theatrical horizons and consolidating the presence of the Emirati experience in specialized Arab events, and strengthening the position of the Puppet Arts Center as a leading regional incubator in this art.
