"Dubai World Trade Center" Informa Group concludes a partnership agreement and launches "inD "

Dubai, January 20 / WAM / The Dubai World Trade Center and the Informa Group, which specializes in the business events sector, digital services and academic research, announced the signing of a partnership agreement to establish a new company bearing the name IND (inD).

The new partnership was announced for the first time in March 2025, as ND combines Dubai World Trade Center’s leadership in global trade events with the global scale and specialized expertise of the Informa Group, which contributes to accelerating the pace of growth at the national, regional and global levels, which strengthens Dubai’s position as a leading global center for live trade events and innovation.

ND has a portfolio of more than 40 brands representing major events serving a range of high-growth sectors, including the healthcare sector (Global Health Expo), the energy sector (Middle East Energy Show), the aviation sector (Dubai Airshow), the food and beverage sector (Gulfood), the information technology and communications sector (GITEX Global), and the information security sector (Gulf Information Security Exhibition and Conference – GISEK).

These brands are expected to achieve revenues exceeding $650 million in 2026, supported by a strong portfolio for future growth, as the demand for high-impact live event experiences continues to increase.

Live trade events play a pivotal role in bringing together economic sectors, thought leaders and decision-makers, contributing to stimulating innovation and promoting growth and investment. It also allows companies to reach new markets, showcase their products and services, and build long-term partnerships.

The establishment of ND comes at a pivotal time that coincides with the significant increase in the capacity of world-class event hosting facilities in Dubai, as the expansion of the Dubai Exhibition Center contributes to providing 140,000 square meters of event space during the current year, which enhances Dubai’s position as one of the most dynamic and innovative global markets in the live commercial events sector.

Gulfood (January 26 – 30) will be the first ND brand to be organized in 2026, as it will be held on an unprecedented scale, and for the first time across the two main locations of the Dubai World Trade Centre, the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Dubai Exhibition Centre, with the participation of more than 8,500 exhibitors showcasing 1.5 million products from 195 countries around the world.

It will be followed immediately by the organization of the World Health Exhibition WHX Dubai (9 – 12 February) and WHX Labs Dubai (10 – 13 February), which will be held simultaneously across the two main sites for the first time, with the participation of more than 4,800 exhibitors, and an expected attendance of more than 270,000 healthcare professionals from more than 180 countries.
