In cooperation with the World Health Organization, The Gallant Knight 3 presents Project Hope with two ambulances

Rafah, January 21, 2017 – The Emirati Field Hospital in the city of Rafah received a delegation from the “Project HOPE” Foundation, as part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts to strengthen the health sector and support emergency medical services in the Gaza Strip.

The visit witnessed the delivery of two ambulances to the “Project HOPE” Foundation, with the aim of enhancing the ability to respond quickly to emergency cases in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions taking place in the sector.

In cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), a number of patients and injured were received in the field hospital to conduct the necessary diagnostic examinations and complete treatment, as part of joint efforts to ensure the provision of appropriate health care.

The director of the Emirati field hospital, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ariani, confirmed that the delivery of the two ambulances and the reception of the wounded come in the context of supporting the health system and reducing the burden on medical facilities, indicating that these steps will contribute directly to improving the medical services provided to the brothers in Gaza.

For his part, Project HOPE team leader Moses Kondoy stressed that the aid provided by the United Arab Emirates will contribute to supporting humanitarian work for a long time, noting that it has arrived at a very important time and will meet the urgent needs of the health sector in Gaza.

The Emirati Field Hospital, in cooperation with international partners, continues its humanitarian efforts to ensure the continued provision of medical and therapeutic services to those in need, despite the existing field and humanitarian challenges.
