المملكة: "Meteorology": Rafha records two degrees below zero and active winds limit visibility in several areas


Rafha recorded the lowest National Center of Meteorology The forecast weather condition for Thursday, January 22, indicates, God willing, that the horizontal visibility will be affected by active winds stirring up dirt and dust in parts of the regions of Mecca, Medina, and Tabuk, extending to the western parts of the northern border regions, Al-Jawf, Hail, and Riyadh, in addition to parts of the Najran and Eastern regions. The sky will also be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light rain in parts of the northern part of the Kingdom.

And in the Red Sea, the surface winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly in the northern and central parts, and southerly to southeasterly in the southern part, at a speed ranging between 18 and 42 km per hour, and may reach 55 km per hour towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with a range of Wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half metres, and reaches two and a half meters towards the strait, and the sea state is light to medium with waves reaching wavy towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

As for the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are northwesterly to westerly at a speed ranging between 20 and 52 km per hour, with wave heights from one and a half to two and a half metres, and may reach higher than two and a half meters in the central and southern part, and the sea state is moderate to Wavy.
