المملكة: The Minister of Foreign Affairs signs the charter establishing the Peace Council
Signed by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah The Minister of Foreign Affairs, today, approved the charter establishing The Peace Council, in the presence of His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, and the leaders and representatives of a number of countries that welcomed the establishment of the Council, during the signing ceremony for the launch of the Council on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2026, in the Swiss city of Davos.
The signing of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Founding Charter comes as a welcome to the peace efforts led by His Excellency the American President, and an affirmation of the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the mission of the Peace Council as a transitional body to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip as well as It was adopted by United Nations Security Council Resolution No. (2803), in support of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and the push towards just and lasting peace, paving the way for achieving security and stability for the countries and peoples of the region.
