The President of the State visits the UMEX and SimTEX 2026 exhibitions

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, visited today the activities of the seventh session of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and Simulation and Training Exhibition (SIMTEX) 2026, which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
His Highness toured the two exhibitions – organized by the ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council – which included a number of pavilions of participating national and international companies and was briefed on the latest technologies and innovations they are displaying in the fields of training, simulation, unmanned systems, robotics, unmanned aircraft, smart control systems, artificial intelligence, future technologies, and others.
During the tour, His Highness the President exchanged conversations with the participants about the technologies and solutions they provide in the civil, commercial and defense fields, stressing the importance of the UMEX and SimTEX exhibitions in providing a global platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences in these vital fields that support development for all, as well as strengthening the UAE’s position as a center for future technology and innovations.
His Highness was accompanied during the tour by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of senior officials.
