"Dubai camel racing" Crowned with "Excellence Award in Heritage Sports"
DUBAI, 23rd January, 2017 (WAM) – The Dubai Camel Racing Club was crowned with the Excellence in Heritage Sports Award at the “MEA Business Awards”, which are based in the United Kingdom and are considered one of the most prominent international awards given annually to leading institutions in the fields of business, innovation and societal impact at the level of the Middle East and Africa region.
This coronation came in recognition of the pioneering role played by the club in preserving the cultural and sporting heritage of the UAE, and its continuous efforts in developing the sport of camel racing and enhancing its presence at the regional and global levels, through organizing and managing major festivals and specialized heritage events, in a way that embodies an integrated model that combines authenticity and modern institutional professionalism.
The MEA Business Awards are given annually to institutions that achieve qualitative achievements in the fields of sustainability, management and innovation.
