The rehabilitation work included restoring the damaged departments and equipping them with modern medical equipment and necessary supplies. This humanitarian intervention culminated in the inauguration, on June 25, 2025, of the King Salman Relief Center, the obstetrics and gynecology clinic at the Friends of the Patient Charitable Society Hospital in the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Hospital administrations appreciated this support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

They stressed that the King Salman Relief Center’s contribution constituted a turning point in reactivating vital medical departments, and contributed to alleviating pressure on other health facilities, and reducing The suffering of a large number of mothers and newborns.

Representatives of the United Nations Population Fund expressed their appreciation for the King Salman Relief Center, praising its role in supporting reproductive health services in Gaza, stressing that this cooperation represents an effective model of humanitarian partnerships.
