المملكة: Prohibiting photography and begging.. Guidance "Islamic affairs" To prepare mosques during Ramadan

Issued Ramadan.
The directives included clear controls for imams and muezzins, emphasizing the importance of performing Qunoot with reverence, and the commitment to holding Ramadan lessons, in addition to adhering to the specified iqama time of (15 minutes), with the necessity of completing the Tahajjud prayer before the dawn call to prayer. The Ministry also stressed the commitment to attendance, and assigning an alternative when necessary to ensure that the tasks of imamate and call to prayer are not disrupted.
Preparing mosques
With regard to organizing the affairs of those in seclusion, the Ministry called for the necessity of organizing the i’tikaf process and verifying the data of those in seclusion. It also stressed the prohibition of photography and begging inside or around mosques.
With regard to preparing mosques, the Ministry directed the necessity of daily field monitoring of mosques, and addressing any observations in a proper manner. Immediately, in addition to taking care of general hygiene and paying attention to women’s prayer halls, ensuring the provision of a suitable and safe environment for worshipers.
