Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed visits the seasonal art exhibitions at the Louvre Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 25 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, visited the seasonal art exhibitions organized by the Louvre Abu Dhabi in cooperation with a number of international art institutions, including the Agency of Museums of France, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the National Picasso Museum.
During this visit, His Highness viewed artistic works documenting various cultural and historical milestones, highlighting the development of applied arts, architecture, decoration and calligraphy, in addition to exhibitions reviewing the paths of modern art and the transformations of styles and artistic movements in the history of the visual arts.
These exhibitions include works loaned from local, regional and international art institutions and groups, reflecting the diversity of creative experiences and artistic schools across cultures, and contributing to enriching the art scene in the region, while highlighting the interaction between global artistic influences and cultural specificity in the Arab world.
The organization of these exhibitions comes within the framework of Louvre Abu Dhabi’s mission as a global platform for cultural dialogue, promoting cultural rapprochement and consolidating the values of openness and coexistence through art.
