Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Rural Saudi Arabia and the Sakha program in the presence of the representative of Minister of Human Resources and Social Development to work, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanin, to enhance coordination and cooperation to implement a group of programs and initiatives aimed at empowering students in The agricultural sector, through joint activities and projects between the two parties.

The memorandum was signed by Her Excellency Dr. Maha bint Muhammad Al-Dhahi, CEO of the Academy, and on the part of the Generosity Program by His Excellency Engineer Abdulaziz Muhammad Al-Hussein, Secretary-General of the programme, on the sidelines of the labor market conference organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in the presence of a number of leaders and officials from both sides.

The memorandum aims to unify efforts in enabling impactful agricultural initiatives, support feasibility studies, enhance the capabilities of agencies and bodies in the regions to support agricultural initiatives, empower stakeholders and connect them to opportunities with real impact, enhance the institutional sustainability of the initiatives, and agree on a general governance framework and effective impact indicators.

According to the memorandum, areas of cooperation include unifying efforts in enabling impactful agricultural initiatives, supporting the preparation of feasibility studies for projects, and harnessing the capabilities of agencies and bodies in the regions, in addition to To empower donors and connect them with quality opportunities with measurable impact, and to build portfolios of high-priority agricultural initiatives at the national level.
