The First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council meets with the Speaker of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman
MANAMA, 28 JANUARY / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, Chairman of the Council Group in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, met with His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council in the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, on the sidelines of the delegation’s participation in the sixteenth session of the Assembly hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, which was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Issa Al-Kashf, Member of the Federal National Council, the continuous development and growth witnessed by the established fraternal relations and strategic cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman in various fields was emphasized.
The two sides stressed the importance of enhancing coordination and consultation regarding issues of common interest on the agenda of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, in a way that contributes to supporting the mutual interests of both countries and the two brotherly peoples.
