Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – the fifth edition of Saudi Media Forum 2026, during the period from February 2 to 4, 2026 AD, with the slogan "Media in a world that is shaping up"With the participation of more than 300 prominent media figures, experts, academics and specialists locally and internationally, speaking in more than 150 dialogue sessions that explore the challenges and opportunities that contribute to the development of The media industry locally, regionally and internationally.
The Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – for their interest and continued support for the media sector.
He stressed the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The two honorable editions of the fifth edition of the Saudi Media Forum embody the belief of the wise leadership in the centrality of the media as a strategic partner in the development process and a soft power that reflects the major transformations taking place in the Kingdom.
A qualitative shift for the media
His Excellency explained that holding the forum in February 2026 acquires exceptional symbolism as it coincides with the ten-year anniversary of the launch of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as the vision contributed to the transfer of the Saudi media to a shift Quality, it is no longer just a transmitter of events, but has become an influence maker and a mirror that reflects the maturity of the Saudi experience to the world, and the forum comes to showcase these achievements and anticipate future prospects.

For his part, the head of the Saudi Media Forum, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harithi, confirmed that the fifth edition of the forum comes in response to the necessities of this stage, which force media institutions to redefine their roles in light of the dominance of artificial intelligence and changing patterns of reception.
