The horse “Billy Wester” wins the “Taste of Kildare” Cup at Jebel Ali Racecourse

The horse “Billy Wester”, owned by “Akram Racing” and under the supervision of trainer Doug Watson, was crowned champion of the “Taste of Kildare” Cup in the fourth and main heat, in the eighth race of the “Jebel Ali” track racing season, which was called “Irish Racing Day.” 94 of the best local and international horses participated in the ceremony in eight rounds, with a total prize pool of 690,000 dirhams.

“Billy Wester”, led by jockey Patrick Dubas, won with a time of 59.24 seconds, a difference of 0.45 lengths from the horse “Donde Fermo”, owned by “Sky Racing”, under the supervision of trainers Antonio Center and Julio Olascuaga and led by jockey Silvestre de Sousa.

• The seventh round, “Irish Marketing Race – Support Race” (1600 metres), was crowned by the “Dewar’s Choins” with the “Opulence Trailbreds” logo, supervised by Bobat Simar and led by Tag O’Shea.

• The eighth round, “Korah Racecourse Award – Motivational Support Race” (1600 meters), was won by “National Interest” for the “Victorias Forever” team, supervised by Fawzi Nass and led by Patrick Dubas.
