Brazilian Machado wins the title of the 67th edition of “Emirates Warriors”

The Brazilian fighter, Caio Machado, was crowned the main fighter in the 67th international edition of the Emirates Mixed Martial Arts Championship series, after defeating the Briton, Tom Breeze, by technical knockout 58 seconds after the start of the fight in the light heavyweight division, during the tournament competitions that were held yesterday, in the hall of the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center (ADNEC), and the fighter Sylvester Chibvembu, from Zimbabwe, defeated the Brazilian Gustavo Ribeiro. In the featherweight, by decision of the judges, the winners of the fight were crowned by the President, Sheikh Zayed bin Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the competitions were witnessed by Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhbout Al Nahyan, President of the Asian Chess Federation, President of the Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club, CEO of Palms Sports Company, the organizer of the event, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Fouad Darwish, world champion Habib Nur Mammadov, and champion Islam Makhachev, In the rest of the fights, the Russian Rashid Vagabov defeated the Kazakhstani Sinjar Adilov in a strong and fierce fight, by decision of the judges, in the 59 kg free weight, and in the women’s fight, the Dutch Benita van Rooij defeated the Uzbek Zulfiya Kurbashova via submission in the 55 kg free weight.
