The University of Sharjah organizes specialized workshops on virtual reality technologies in"Exposure"

Sharjah, 5 February / WAM / The College of Communication at the University of Sharjah participated in the activities of the International Photography Festival “Xposure 2026” in its tenth session by organizing a series of training workshops specialized in producing interactive content and virtual reality (VR) technologies, with the aim of introducing students and visitors to the festival to the stages of designing and developing content within virtual environments (metaverse), and the latest tools and techniques for creating media content.
The workshops were presented over three days by Ahmed Al-Mishmeshi, a lecturer at the College of Communication at the University of Sharjah, and covered multiple topics, including mechanisms for designing and building virtual spaces, filming 360-degree films, and introducing the applications used to create and manage metaverse environments, in addition to reviewing methods for producing content that serves media institutions, communication departments in government agencies and companies, in addition to startups.
While University of Sharjah students participated in attending a number of specialized workshops and events included in the festival, in addition to their participation in the activities of the documentary area designated for the student competition, which focused on producing photography projects and short films on the topics presented.
