China’s Shinwing: The UAE is a global platform for investment
Dubai, February 5 / WAM / Eric Li Ka Xiong, President of Shinwing Business Consulting Services Co., Ltd. in China, stressed the importance of unifying accounting standards at the international level, as this has a major role in enhancing investor confidence and creating a more transparent and attractive environment for investment.
In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, Cheung explained that unifying accounting standards allows international investors to understand companies’ financial statements within a unified framework, which contributes to creating new investment opportunities and supporting the flow of capital to rapidly growing markets.
He praised Dubai’s rapid development and growth, describing it as an open and easy-to-understand economic model that embraces a broad international community, in addition to its role as a global center for finance and capital, under supportive government policies.
He stressed that the UAE constitutes an important platform in light of the current geopolitical changes, due to its balanced relations and its approach based on openness, in addition to the role of partnerships and alliances in attracting companies and investments and enhancing economic mobility.
