The Head of State and the Russian President discuss by phone the relations of the two countries and regional developments

Abu Dhabi, 8 February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, discussed during a phone call various aspects of cooperation and joint work and opportunities to enhance them within the framework of the strategic partnership that brings together the two countries in a way that serves their mutual interests.

His Highness the President and the Russian President also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, most notably regional developments and efforts made towards reducing escalation to maintain security and stability by supporting dialogue and peaceful solutions.
