Bahri’s profits increased by 8.6% to 2.38 billion riyals for the year 2025


The net profits of the Saudi National Shipping Company (Bahri) for the year 2025 increased by 8.6% to 2.38 billion riyals, compared to profits amounting to 2.19 billion riyals in the previous year, 2024.

The main reason for the increase in net profit in 2025 compared to the previous year is the increase in the total profit of the Bahri Oil sector by 755 million riyals, as a result of the improvement in operational performance and global transportation prices for the sector during the current period compared to the similar period of The previous year, and an increase in profits from the company’s share in equity invested companies by an amount of 134 million riyals.

The increase in net profit was limited by a decrease in the gross profit of the Bahri Chemicals sector by an amount of 324 million riyals, and the Bahri Integrated Logistics Services sector by an amount of 37 million riyals during the current period compared to the similar period of the previous year.

Other revenues also decreased by an amount of 138 million riyals during the current period compared to the similar period of the previous year, as a result of the similar period of the previous year ensuring gains. Capital from the sale of ships in the amount of 216 million riyals compared to the amount of only 6 million riyals during the current period, in addition to the increase in general and administrative expenses and the increase in financing expenses in the current period compared to the similar period of the previous year.
