Conclusion of the Jinana Bearings and Heritage Diving races within the Abu Dhabi 2026 Masters Games

Al Dhafra, 9 February / WAM / The competitions of the Janana 22-foot sailboat race and the heritage diving race, which were held as part of the Abu Dhabi 2026 Masters Games, concluded yesterday in the port city in the Al Dhafra region, while the events were organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
The results of the heritage diving race resulted in Ahmed Al Shehhi winning first place, while Omar Abdullah Al Araimi came in second place, and Yacoub Yousef Al Hammadi came third.
In the Janana race for sailing bearings in the 22-foot category, first place was won by the “Toofan 21” loader, owned by Hamad Rashid Al Rumaithi and driven by Nokhatha Ahmed Al Mazrouqi. The “Dahes 18” loader, owned by Nokhatha Abdul Rahman Al Marzouqi, came second, while the “Zelzal 125” loader, owned by Nokhatha Abdullah Marwan Al Marzouqi, came third.
The conclusion of the two races witnessed the coronation of the winners in the presence of a number of officials, as Al Nokhatha’s father, Mohammed Saber Al Mazrouei, honored the champions in a gesture that embodies the message of the Masters Games aimed at enhancing the participation of the elderly and consolidating the values of sustainability and giving. Saeed Khalifa Al Muhairi, Director of the Community Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Ali Salmeen Al Dhaheri, Head of the Heritage Racing Department at the Council, Saeed Humaid Al Muhairi, Head of the Technical Support Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, and Khalifa Al Rashid Al Rumaithi, Director of Heritage Sports Activities at the Club, and Khalifa Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director of the Club Academy.
