Grant Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than 2,108 people convicted, according to the judiciary, which made clear that the list did not include any of the participants in Recent protests in Iran.
This decision comes shortly before the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, during which the Supreme Leader used to sign similar amnesty decisions, and on other important occasions in Iran.
