Mohammed bin Rashid witnesses part of the competitions on the final day of Tahadi "Swat" He praises the level of the difference

Dubai, 11 February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, witnessed part of the competitions of the final day of the UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams in its seventh session, “SWAT 2026”, whose competitions were held in Al Ruwayyah Square in the Emirate of Dubai.

In the presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, His Highness was briefed on the course of the competitions that witnessed the “Obstacle Challenge” and met with the leaders of the participating police teams, including the women’s teams. His Highness welcomed them to Dubai and wished them and their teams further success.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the organizational level of the tournament and its role in promoting the exchange of experiences and strengthening relations between police and security services globally. His Highness said: “We value the high efficiency and high levels of performance we have witnessed, distinguished by a great deal of professionalism and discipline for all participating teams. We also value the pioneering role of Dubai Police in making this event a success, confirming the ability of the UAE and Dubai to manage the largest specialized events with the highest standards of excellence.”

His Highness added: “The challenge reflects what the future requires in terms of preparing cadres capable of making the right decisions in the most difficult situations and working in harmony with the spirit of one team… which is what we saw today through the distinguished levels of performance of all participants in the event, for which we hope for further development.”

This year, the UAE Tactical Teams Challenge witnessed the participation of 109 teams from tactical and special police units representing 48 countries from around the world, in the presence of senior officers and team leaders from six continents, in confirmation of the global position that the UAE occupies as a leading platform for hosting the most prominent security and specialized events.

The challenge, the largest of its kind in the world in the field of the work of tactical teams and special units, includes five main challenges: “Attack Challenge,” “Hostage Rescue,” “Officer Rescue,” “Tower Challenge,” and “Obstacle Challenge,” which in their entirety simulate realistic scenarios that require speed, strength, and precision, in a way that enhances operational readiness and enhances the capabilities of police personnel in facing various security challenges.

The UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams continues to consolidate its position as a leading global platform, whose mission is not limited to competition between teams, but rather constitutes a strategic meeting point for exchanging security experiences and reviewing the latest methods and technologies in the fields of rapid intervention and crisis management.
