“WorldDubai 2026” attracts 18,000 visitors and 160 exhibitors from 80 countries

The WorldDubai Forum 2026 concluded its activities at Dubai CommerCity, bringing down the curtain on an exceptional session held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIZ), after three days of high-level strategic discussions that reflected the maturity of the global movement in the digital commerce sector.

The session, which Dubai hosted for the second time, brought together more than 18,000 visitors and elite decision-makers, entrepreneurs, investors and experts from more than 80 countries, confirming the growing momentum witnessed by the digital trade system in Dubai and the region, and strengthening the emirate’s position as a global platform for dialogue and formulating future directions for the digital economy.

The second and third days of the forum witnessed a group of specific sessions that focused on the future of digital commerce and its integration with artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, supply chains, and non-cash payment solutions, in addition to anticipating the prospects for cross-border trade during the next decade, in light of the rapid transformations that the digital economy is witnessing globally.

In this context, Amna Lootah, Director General of Dubai CommerCity and Dubai Airport Free Zone, said: “The success achieved by the Worldive Dubai Forum 2026 confirms that the Emirate of Dubai is not only keeping pace with the transformations of digital trade, but also contributing to shaping its future trends. The forum provided a strategic platform for the convergence of policies with technologies, and capital with innovation, which enhances the readiness of our economic system for the next stage, and adds a new step in the emirate’s journey towards consolidating its position as a global capital for the digital economy and smart trade, in line with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”

For his part, CEO of the “Worldive” platform, Omar Nart, said: “The three days of the forum constituted a real space for the convergence of visions and the building of alliances that shape the features of the next stage of digital trade, as the outcomes were not limited to discussions, but were translated into practical recommendations that enhance the integration of digital trade globally.

At the level of specialized sessions, a session entitled “From Paper to Digital Platforms: How Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Are Reshaping Execution and Supply Processes,” shed light on the role of advanced technologies in redefining supply chains and logistics services within a rapidly growing digital trade environment, with the participation of Executive Vice President of Operations at Dubai CommerCity, Abdul Rahman Shaheen, Executive Director of Business at Ghibli, Vikrant Kari, and General Manager of Zajil, Nabil Al Kharabsheh.

Participants emphasized that automation contributes to reducing human errors and increasing operational efficiency, while predictive analytics allows for improving paths and reducing delays at various stages of the supply chain.

They also stressed the importance of integration between the public and private sectors to support modern logistics systems, in addition to investing in developing human resources skills as a fundamental pillar of the transformation process, noting that sustainability has become directly linked to improving efficiency and reducing operational waste.
