Khorfakkan goalkeeper apologizes after Ajman five-pointer

Khorfakkan goalkeeper, Ahmed Hamdan, apologized to his club’s fans following the heavy loss to Ajman, 2-5, yesterday, in the 16th round of the professional football league.
Hamdan said in media statements after the match: “We received a huge loss on our home soil and among our fans, and this is unacceptable, so I must apologize to the fans, the club management and the technical staff. I see that the main reason is the players’ excessive confidence after the victory over Al Dhafra in the last round.”
He added: “We should have made better use of the opportunities, and we must learn the lesson to correct this performance before the next Al-Nasr match, in which it has become necessary to provide a better level and result.”
Ajman raised its score to 20 points and rose to seventh place, while Khor Fakkan’s score froze at 18 points and fell to eighth place.
Walid Azaro (two goals) “24” and “29”, Lethry Silva (two goals) “38” and “56”, and Anis Muttish “79”, while the two goals for Khor Fakkan were scored by Abdullah Al-Rifai “38” and “88”.
