المملكة: In celebration of Founding Day…the Minister of Education opens the Student Arts Festival


Sponsored Minister of Education Youssef Al-Benyan, today, the launch of the activities of the Student Arts Festival, which was organized by the Ministry at its headquarters in Riyadh, coinciding with the General education schools in all regions of the Kingdom on the anniversary of the founding day, with the broad participation of male and female students who presented a creative product that embodies the heritage of National identity.

Minister Al-Benyan toured the festival’s corners, looking at the contributions of male and female students, which varied between plastic arts and heritage works related to the roots of the Saudi state. He listened to students’ explanations about their contributions whose values were inspired by the nation’s history, with the participation of the ministry’s leaders and employees.

Values of National Belonging

The festival aims to enhance the values of national belonging among young people, and connect Students understand the historical depth of their country by embodying the stages of the founding of the Saudi state in artistic and interactive forms, which contributes to reviving the cultural heritage and consolidating pride in the authentic Saudi identity in the conscience of the rising generations.

The artistic and cultural corners of the festival were numerous to simulate the historical environment of the time of its founding, as it included a special corner for Diriyah, pavilions for horses and falcons, and sections for traditional costumes and crafts, in addition to live student performances that showcased aspects of social life. This made the festival an integrated educational and historical platform that highlights the cohesion of the nation’s people with their glorious history.
