Raised Ministry of Municipalities and Housing The level of readiness of its municipal services system in The Holy Capital for the Ramadanand Umrah for the year 1447 AH, through integrated operational and service plans implemented by the Ministry, represented by the Secretariat of the Holy Capital.
On the infrastructure side, preparations included raising the efficiency of tunnel networks with a length of 22,515 linear meters, in addition to 6,000 linear meters of service tunnels, as well as maintaining and preparing 16 bridges and 8 main roads, in a way that supports the flow of traffic and ease of movement. Pedestrians in the Holy Capital, especially during peak times.
The Ministry explained that the total workforce deployed within the readiness plans reached 13,549 workers, supported by 912 equipment and machinery, in addition to providing more than 47,900 waste containers in various locations, which contributes to intensifying public cleaning and environmental sanitation work around the clock.

It indicated that the readiness plans focused on the central region as it has the highest density, as it was supported by more than 2,100 human cadres, and harnessed more than 430 equipment and machines, in addition to providing 367 waste containers, which increases the efficiency of field work during peak times.
The Ministry confirmed continued follow-up. Operational readiness in the field during the month of Ramadan, ensuring the sustainability of the efficiency of municipal services and raising the level of operational reliability in the Holy Capital.
