Abu Dhabi Police calls on drivers to adhere to safe driving during fog formation

Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers to adhere to traffic safety procedures and adhere to specified speeds that do not exceed 80 km/h when fog forms and horizontal visibility decreases, stressing the importance of exercising caution and caution while driving in such weather conditions.

She explained that driving in foggy conditions requires leaving a sufficient safety distance between vehicles, and avoiding distractions other than the road or using the phone while driving, because it has a direct impact on the driver’s concentration and safety and the safety of road users.

She stressed the need to use appropriate headlights and avoid high beams that may reflect in the fog and impair visibility.
