Sunny Varkey, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Founder of the Varkey Foundation and GEMS Education Group, provided an amount of 100 million dirhams in support of the “Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans” campaign, which was launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority “Abu Dhabi Endowments”, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, with the aim of providing a sustainable source of funding for orphan care that guarantees them a more stable future and improves their quality of life, thus contributing to building a society.
