Al-Wasl continues to shine in the Sunni stage championships

Al Wasl Club’s football school continued to confirm its strong presence in the age-level tournaments, after the U-12 team achieved third place in the U-12 Ramadan Cup, which was organized by the UAE Football Association with the participation of 10 private clubs and academies. The coronation reflects the continuous work within the sector, and the great interest in developing talent from a young age, within the framework of a clear vision that aims to create a generation capable of representing the club in the future.
Standing on podiums is a recurring feature at Al Wasl Club, as the sector is keen to establish a culture of winning, discipline and fighting spirit among the players, through integrated training programs supervised by a technical and administrative staff that works with high professionalism. This achievement represents a new milestone that confirms that the solid base that is being built today will reflect positively on the club’s teams in the coming years.
The successes did not stop there, as the academy’s teams recorded a distinguished presence in the Dubai Open Championship for Football Academies “DOFA” for the 2025/2026 sports season, after achieving several advanced positions in various age groups. In the Under-7 “A” category, the team achieved third place in the league, while the Under-8 “A” team excelled by achieving first place in the cup and second place in the league, confirming the strength and technical balance of this category.
The U-8 “B” team also achieved third place in the league, while the U-9 “A” team continued its remarkable performances by winning first place in the league and first place in the cup, a double achievement that reflects its technical superiority and consistency in level throughout the season’s competitions. As for the U-9 “B” team, it ended its participation by obtaining second place in the league, completing the list of achievements achieved by the academy in the tournament.
These results reflect the amount of effort exerted by the technical and administrative bodies, in addition to the commitment of the players and the support of parents, in an integrated system that seeks to develop skills and hone talents according to modern scientific foundations. The academy also enjoys continuous support from the Football Company, which places the development of the youth sector among its priorities, believing that real investment begins from the bottom.
