Graduation of the first batch of program members "Tomorrow’s researchers"

Dubai, February 25 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consultation, through its office in Dubai, celebrated the graduation of the first batch of members of the “Tomorrow’s Researchers” intensive training programme, which was implemented by the Trends office in Dubai over a period of two months, with the participation of master’s and bachelor’s degree students from the University of Sharjah, the American University of Sharjah, and California State University in the United States.

Program members received theoretical and practical training on the basics of research writing and report preparation, presentation skills, data analysis tools, opinion polls and field surveys, and sample collection methods. The program combined guidance, research training, and cognitive interaction with professional dialogues.

The graduates were honored and given certificates of participation and successful completion of the training course, during a ceremony attended by Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center for Research and Consultation, who congratulated the students on completing the course with distinction and skill, stressing the center’s keenness to launch various training programs and qualification courses, noting that the “Tomorrow’s Researchers” program will continue to provide qualitative training courses during the coming period, to contribute to achieving the center’s vision and slogan, “Investing in youth is investing in the future.”

For his part, Fahd Al-Mahri, principal researcher and head of the “Trends-Dubai” sector, explained that the “Tomorrow’s Researchers” intensive training program included two tracks, the first targeted bachelor’s students, and the second was allocated to master’s students, pointing out that the bachelor’s and new graduates track was designed for students moving from academic study to applied research, as trainees in this track received organized guidance to build basic competencies in preparing research, analytical writing, and professional communication.

For his part, Ali Abdullah Al Ali, researcher and director of the Trends office in Dubai, said that the master’s track within the program targeted graduate students who already possess research tools and are prepared to do advanced analytical work in an environment that focuses on a deep understanding of regional and international events and issues. Over a period of two months, the trainees were able to acquire more critical thinking and advanced writing skills appropriate for research, in addition to receiving extensive training on tools for evaluating sources, developing arguments, and written analysis.
