Trump still prefers a diplomatic solution with Iran

US Vice President J.D. Vance said on Wednesday that President Donald Trump still prefers a diplomatic solution with Iran, and that he hopes that the Iranians will take this matter seriously in their negotiations tomorrow, Thursday.

He added in an interview with Fox News Channel, “The president was completely clear (in saying that) Iran cannot possess a nuclear weapon… and he will try to achieve this diplomatically.”

Vance said that Trump wants to achieve this goal diplomatically, but he has other tools at his disposal.

The American and Iranian delegations will hold a third round of talks on Tehran’s nuclear program in Geneva tomorrow, Thursday.

Vance said he hopes the Iranians will take Trump’s preference seriously in the negotiations tomorrow, Thursday.
