The Head of State receives a written message from the Korean President while receiving the Special Envoy

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a written message from His Excellency Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, relating to cooperation relations and opportunities to enhance them within the framework of the “special strategic partnership” that brings together the two countries.

The message was delivered to His Highness by His Excellency Kang Hoon-sik, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea for Strategic Economic Cooperation, during his reception at Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the Korean envoy conveyed to His Highness the greetings of His Excellency Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, and his wishes for the UAE for continued progress and prosperity. While His Highness, the Special Envoy, conveyed his greetings to His Excellency the Korean President and his wishes for his country and its people further development and for the relations of the two countries continued prosperity.

The meeting touched on the paths of development of Emirati-Korean cooperation within the framework of the “Special Strategic Partnership” that brings together the two countries and ways to advance it to broader horizons, especially in areas of development priority, including advanced technology, artificial intelligence, economics, energy, and defense technology, in addition to educational, cultural, and other fields.

The two sides also reviewed the outcomes of the “state visit” made by His Excellency Lee Jae-myung to the UAE last November, which witnessed the consolidation of strategic relations between the two countries and the expansion of future areas of cooperation in order to continue joint growth and mutual prosperity in vital fields.
