The Head of State receives a phone call from the Prime Minister of Hungary, during which they discussed the Iranian attacks on the UAE and sister countries

Abu Dhabi, February 28 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from His Excellency Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, during which they discussed developments in the region and the dangerous military developments it is witnessing.

During the call, His Excellency the Hungarian Prime Minister expressed his condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries, and the violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, as well as their dangerous repercussions on security and stability in the region. While His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked His Excellency Viktor Orbán for his country’s support, the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, stressing the importance of restraint, stopping escalation in the region, and not expanding the conflict, as this would pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.
