The Head of State receives a phone call from the British Prime Minister, during which they discussed the repercussions of the escalation in the region
Abu Dhabi, February 28 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from His Excellency Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, during which they discussed the military escalation in the region and its repercussions on regional security and stability.
During the call, the British Prime Minister expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks that targeted the lands of the UAE and a number of Arab countries, stressing that they represent a violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a threat to the security and stability of the region.
For his part, His Highness the President thanked the British Prime Minister for his country’s position in support of the UAE.
The two sides stressed the need to stop the escalation to avoid expanding the conflict in order to preserve the stability and security of the region.
