During which she affirmed solidarity with the UAE…the head of state receives a phone call from the President of the European Commission

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, during which they discussed the military escalation and developments in the situation in the region and the serious repercussions that this has on its security and stability.

During the call, the President of the European Commission expressed her condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of Arab countries, and the serious violation of the sovereignty of these countries, the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, affirming solidarity with the UAE in everything it does to defend its land, security and sovereignty.

For his part, His Highness the President thanked Ursula von der Leyen for her position in support of the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to stop the escalation and resort to dialogue and diplomatic means to prevent the situation from worsening and threatening the security and stability of the region.
