The Agricultural Extension confirmed that it is prohibited to transport pesticides with any other materials or goods, especially food or fodder, in order to avoid accidental contamination that may have a negative impact. On the health of consumers or livestock, explaining that complete separation between pesticides and any other materials represents an indispensable preventive measure within the agricultural safety system.

With regard to the precautions that must be taken before using pesticides, he called for the necessity of wearing protective clothing and masks designated for spraying work, in order to ensure that direct exposure to chemicals is reduced.

He stressed the importance of choosing adult spraying workers trained in dealing with pesticides, in addition to selecting the appropriate spraying machine for the nature of the crop and its type. The pesticide used, to ensure a homogeneous and effective distribution.
