المملكة: Improving lighting in the Qiblatain Mosque, Sayyid al-Shuhada Mosque, and the Friday Mosque with modern technologies
Under the guidance and supervision of the Minister Prominentmosques, as part of its ongoing efforts to care for the houses of God and improve the experience of worshipers and visitors, in a way that enhances the atmosphere of tranquility and tranquility during the performance of worship.
The works in the Qiblatain Mosque included replacing (1,500) internal lighting units with modern ones with a soft glow in color (3,000 Kelvin), equipped with photocells and timers that contribute to rationalizing energy consumption and providing Visual comfort for worshipers, in harmony with the architectural character of the mosque and the cultural center developed around it.
Developing mosque facilities
The works also included the Sayyid al-Shuhada Mosque and the Friday Mosque; Where (140) external floodlights and modern internal lighting units were installed in the Sayyid al-Shuhada Mosque, in addition to the installation of (35) external floodlights in the Friday Mosque, in a way that suits the architectural style and the surrounding environment, and ensures the comfort of the worshipers, while achieving high efficiency in energy consumption through the use of photovoltaic cells and timers as needed.
These works come within the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in developing mosque facilities and upgrading their services, in order to achieve the best environment. Devotional for worshipers and visitors, and keeps pace with the ministry’s objectives in improving the quality of services provided in the houses of God.
