The Argentine Academy is champion of junior football in the Ajman Government Sports Tournament

The Argentine Academy was crowned champion of the Junior Football Championship in the 2026 Ajman Government Sports Tournament, after defeating Al-Mustaqbal Academy by three goals to no in the final match that was held yesterday evening, Friday.

The Argentine Academy’s coronation came after a strong and distinguished performance in the final match, as the players imposed their control over the course of the match from the first minutes, and they succeeded in translating their superiority into three goals that decided the confrontation in their favor, to climb the podium well deservedly.

The team was led by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, who played a prominent role in supporting and motivating the players throughout the tournament, contributing to achieving this achievement.

The match witnessed a remarkable crowd of families and football fans, as the audience was keen to interact with the course of the match. The attendees also raised a banner that read, “Don’t worry,” in a national message of support that reflected the spirit of solidarity and community cohesion during the sporting event.

Rashid Al Marri from the Argentine Academy won the best player award in the tournament, while Mahmoud Mohammed from the Future Academy was crowned the top scorer in the tournament, and Youssef Meshref from the Argentine Academy won the best goalkeeper award, and Walid Othman from the Pyramids Academy won the best administrator award, while Rashid Dalwan from the Argentine Academy won the best coach award.

The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Ajman Government Sports Tournament confirmed that the junior football tournament presented a distinctive model of sports competition between the participating academies, praising the technical level demonstrated by the players throughout the tournament days, and the promising skills and high competitive spirit they demonstrated.
