المملكة: Mufti of Kyrgyzstan: Saudi Arabia is a leader in serving Islam and Muslims around the world
His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic of A gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to distribute dates and break the fast for those who are fasting which was implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the capital, Bishkek, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affairs of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, a number of officials from the Presidential Office and the Council of Ministers, the head of the National Investment Agency, the representative of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, the head of the National Agency for Religious Affairs, along with members of the diplomatic corps and members of the Kyrgyz Parliament. And university presidents, representatives of Islamic charitable societies, and a number of members of the Arab community and employees of the Saudi embassy.
Serving Islam and Muslims
His Eminence referred to the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its various contributions in serving Islam and Muslims around the world, stressing that this role reflects the international and Islamic status of the Kingdom as the Qibla for Muslims and the landing place of revelation.
The Mufti of Kyrgyzstan also noted the initiatives and programs provided by the Kingdom to serve the Holy Qur’an and promote Islamic values, Recalling the local competitions for the Holy Qur’an for boys and girls, which are organized with the support and supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, in addition to a number of programs and initiatives implemented by the Kingdom in Kyrgyzstan, including the programs for breaking the fast of fasting people and distributing dates presented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him -, under the supervision and follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh.
He stressed in conclusion. His statements are that these programs are widely accepted by the Kyrgyz people, who express their thanks and gratitude to the leadership of the Kingdom and its honorable people for the humanitarian and charitable works they provide that reflect the values of Islamic brotherhood and solidarity.
It is noteworthy that the amount of dates allocated for distribution in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan this year amounted to (10) tons, an increase of (5) tons over last year, benefiting nearly (40,000) beneficiaries, while the number of beneficiaries of the program is Providing Iftar for those who are fasting for about (3,500) beneficiaries.
