ABU DHABI, 8 March / WAM / His Excellency Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, confirmed that Zayed Humanitarian Work Day represents a national occasion in which we recall the system of values established by the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” in the fields of humanitarian work, which was based on a strategic vision linking human building, consolidating stability, and promoting sustainable development, so that Emirati giving has become an integrated institutional approach based on solid principles. His Excellency pointed out that the thought of the late Sheikh Zayed was not an immediate charitable act, but rather an extended civilizational project that established a state that made investing in people a top priority and empowering communities a pillar of sustainable growth. He pointed out that this approach was reflected in the state’s financial policies, which harmonized economic efficiency with the humanitarian dimension, thus enhancing the state’s ability to effectively contribute to supporting regional and international stability.
He explained that the Ministry of Finance is inspired in its work by this comprehensive vision, by developing flexible and sustainable financial frameworks that support development and humanitarian initiatives, and provides an environment that enables resources to be directed efficiently towards sectors with a social and economic impact, thus enhancing the UAE’s position as a reliable partner in supporting development efforts at the local and global levels.
His Excellency renewed the pledge to continue translating the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed into practical policies that promote solidarity and prosperity, and establish the UAE’s position as a global model in employing financial power to serve humanity, as the process of giving established by the founding father will remain a beacon that guides generations towards greater construction and achievement.
