Iran’s attacks are unprecedented and cannot be justified under any pretext

The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, said today, Sunday, that the attacks against Bahrain and sister Arab countries and friendly countries are “unprecedented and cannot be justified under any pretext by Iran,” stressing that his country’s armed forces confronted and thwarted these attempts and preserved the security of the homeland and the safety of citizens and residents.
The King of Bahrain added, in a speech on the occasion of the last ten days of the month of Ramadan, that Bahrain “was and will remain a state of peace. It has never taken the initiative to antagonize anyone, and has only pursued the path of cooperation and good neighbourliness.” He praised the “readiness, vigilance and national responsibility” demonstrated by the armed forces and all relevant agencies and their “firm response that thwarted those attempts.”
He continued: “In the midst of these developments, Bahrain was fortunate to have been surrounded by sincere fraternal support and support, which was evident in Gulf solidarity, which came in its finest form, as is always the pledge.”
The King of Bahrain went on to say: “We were heartened by the communications we received from brotherly and friendly countries from various parts of the world, confirming their full support for the Kingdom and its stability, and expressing its best wishes for all of you. These are stances that we are proud of and reflect the well-known appreciation and respect that our country enjoys for it.”
He stated that Bahrain will remain “steadfast on the approach of wisdom and moderation,” and said that “its joining of the Peace Council concerned with the reconstruction of Gaza comes as an expression of the clarity of its positions and the consistency of its policies with the efforts aimed at spreading peace, rebuilding, and creating the foundations for stability.”
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior said that Iran is randomly bombing civilian targets, and caused material damage to a water desalination plant following a drone attack.
95 missiles and 164 marches
For its part, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that air defense systems continue to confront successive waves of Iranian attacks. Since the start of the brutal attack, 95 missiles and 164 drones have been intercepted and destroyed.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force stressed the need to stay at home and not go out except for the utmost necessity, while adhering to the utmost caution in order to preserve their safety, and completely staying away from damaged sites and any suspicious objects, not photographing military operations, avoiding photographing the sites of falling debris, and not spreading rumours, while being careful to obtain information from official sources, with the importance of following the official and government media to obtain information, alerts and warnings.
The General Command considered that “the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian objects and private property is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, and that these indiscriminate, sinful attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security.”
